Large ewer/jug by Dunn Bennett and Co in 'Pompadour' design - single colour transfer print reminiscent of Aesthetic Movement designs influenced by Japanese prints.
Originally probably part of a dressing table set produced in the late-19th century, this is a very versatile piece which would be great for garden flowers and greenery.
As seen in the photographs, there is a chip to the base but this does not affect the use or overall appearance of the jug.
