Chipping Campden Pottery useful blue pot
A small, wellmade pot glazed in a beautiful grey-blue, speckled glaze on the exterior and a grey-white glaze on the interior. Attributed to Muriel Tudor-Jones of Campden Pottery, Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds. Signed 'Campden Pottery' on the unglazed terracotta base.
Muriel Tudor-Jones started potting in the 1950s, working at Coldstone Pottery, before moving to Broadway, Worcestershire in 1959, and then working at Chipping Campden Pottery, Gloucestershire, between 1963 and 1980.
