'Alexandra Rose' Edwardian chamberstick by Longpark Pottery, Torquay
This pretty Edwardian (or possibly as late as the early 1920s) chamberstick is in the hand-painted 'Alexandra Rose' pattern used by several of the Torquay potteries. The mauve lustre glaze has a violet-pink single rose flower. Made by Longpark Pottery, Newton Road, Torquay (1883-1957) with a printed mark 'Longpark Torquay' on base. We also have an 'Alexandra Rose' vase from Watcombe Pottery in stock, sold separately.
