The Boch family has a long and celebrated history of producing ceramics around the French-German border, Belgium and Luxembourg, making faience pieces from the mid-18th century onwards. The Boch family ran a number of factories and enterprises in parallel, including Boch Luxembourg and their operations eventually formed both the partnership of Villeroy & Boch in 1836, and 'Keramis', a company now known as Royal Boch.
