Vintage Italian 'Vermicelli' floral vase

A fabulous, vintage, 1950s-1960s, two-handled vase with applied 'vermicelli' snow crusted finish in white glaze, and decorated with hand-painted flowers in green, teal, brown, red and yellow with touches of metallic gold. Both handles are also gilded and the inside glazed in a warm, golden ochre. The mark 'Italy A/5' is painted on the base in black.
