It has a white, glossy glazed interior and lid, which has a cut out for a spoon. The pot has a matt taupe glazed exterior, with a wax relief decoration of stripes and 'Marmalade', typical of the 1970s style. Stamped on the unglazed terracotta base with the Wellhouse Pottery mark.
After 1982 the Wellhouse Pottery moved to Brixham, Devon.
