This print is the artist's proof - the printer produces this to get the artist's approval before producing a run of prints for a limited edition - as this is usually the first one off, it is sometimes signed by the artist as such and sold as an exclusive item at slightly higher price.
The print is entitled 'Slavery' and shows a series of interlocked metal rings. The artist's signature is bottom right (in pencil) but it hasn't been possible to identify the artist. It is dated '71. The print is framed in a contemporary (to the work) white frame with fabric strip, and appears to be on a good woven paper.
