Two large hand-painted Portuguese mugs, made in Almancil, on the Algarve, southern Portugal at the 'Olaria de Almancil' [Almancil Pottery] each mug is decorated with a different design of flowers and scrolling foliage in subtle tertiary coloured glazes over a terracotta body. These are typical of pieces which were produced by this pottery - and are great for those who need a decent amount of tea or coffee in one go!
Each mug is handmade and handpainted so there may be minor differences in shape and size, as well as decoration.
