A set of six dessert plates in the 'Marguerite' design from the French glassmakers Arcopal. The smoked glass plates are moulded in the shape of daisies, known as 'marguerites' in French (although these plates are often misidentified as sunflowers). Presented in great condition in the original box. We also have a set of six matching dinner plates available.
The Arcoroc brand was established in 1958 and is used for tempered glass, it is owned by the same company, Arc International (formerly Cristallerie d'Arques, created in 1825) that produces Arcopal (opal glass), Luminarc (tableware and drinksware) and Cristal d'Arques Paris (lead crystal).
