A pair of dessert plates in lovely condition, moulded with leaves and hops, and glazed in dark green, in the style of British and European majolica of the later-19th century. Impressed with a number 4 on the reverse of each plate, no maker's marks. These designs were continually popular, and continued to be made in the early-20th century too.
