Mid-century wooden shelving unit and fire-surround
Wooden fire-surround, originally for a wall-mounted gas fire, but would also make a striking wall-mounted shelving unit, with room for pictures or a TV in the central aperture.
Shape and construction very evocative of the period, could be repainted or possibly stripped back to original wood finish. Minor repair work needed to replace missing corner trim.
This piece of furniture has metal brackets to enable it to be secured to a wall to prevent toppling, when standing on the floor. You may need more substantial fittings to mount it higher on a wall (not supplied).
