Print by Harold Clayton 'Morning Glory', a still life of vase of flowers

£54.00Price

  • Harold Clayton (1896-1979) was a British painter best known for his depictions of flower arrangements in ornate vases, painted in lots of detail and reminiscent of the centered compositions of 16th-century Dutch and Flemish floral still-life painters. Clayton lived in London, Devon and Cyprus, and often exhibited at the Royal Academy in London during his life. Some of his paintings were made into prints, like this one, making them accessible to the wider public.
