Large tankard mug produced by (the now closed) Stonebridge Pottery, Walsall, West Midlands with embossed stoneware plaque of a flat-capped gentleman and the words Real Ale (and its ingredients).
Produced when British real ale was still under threat as lager drinking was far more acceptable and only a few bearded eccentrics were fighting to keep it alive - perfect Christmas gift for the urban hipster in your life!
