Denby Pottery 'Green Wheat' dinner service
An extensive range of dinnerware in the popular Denby Pottery 'Green Wheat' pattern, designed by Albert Colledge and first produced in 1956. The pieces are hand decorated with a stylised wheat-ear design, each of which varies slightly. Like most Denby pieces manufactured in the town of Denby, north of Derby in Derbyshire, the dinner service is made of stoneware. It has a semi matt glaze on most pieces and a gloss glaze on the teal lids and bases of some pieces. Please see below for the full list of items included.
